Scuba Diving

St. Barth has a healthy and rich reef which makes the waters around St. Barth perfect for Scuba Diving.

The waters are well-preserved in part because of the unique geological features around the island, the waters between St. Barths and St. Martin are no deeper than 30 metres — meaning large numbers of colourful reef fish and less larger fish. Divers will find structures, caves and even shipwrecks to explore on their trip.

📍Where?
The best diving is around Pain de Sucre, an islet located close to Gustavia harbor, Coco Islet and l’Ane Rouge, off Colombier bay.
You can join diving groups with @stbarthplongee or @serial_divers, even if you have never done it before.

Or ask your concierge to organize fresh pastries delivery to your villa.

One more delicious spot for the ultimate French pastry experience - The Sin Garden, located in Gustavia.

Car Rental on the island

Imagine a Mediterranean French village – for instance, Eze, with its breathtaking sea view from above.
Located on the hillside, it can be reached only by transportation.

St. Barth is the same way.
A volcanic origin of the island made it hilly, veined by the few serpentine roads. A trip around St. Barth by car takes 45 minutes. Most walking on the island is for the sport purposes – hikes to the secluded parts of St. Barth.
St. Barth has neither establishments for mass visitors, nor public transportation. The only transportation on the island is a private car. MINI Cabrio Cooper comes highly recommended due to its power.

Toiny – St. Barth's wilder side

St. Barth is undoubtedly a place where you get the chance to touch the nature, speak with nature, and learn from nature. This tiny island has so much to admire and to enjoy.
Toiny is a wilder side of the island where you can listen to the ocean, watch the surfers and take a walk with a great view.

In this part of the island you can find a hidden paradise called Le Toiny Beach Club. The journey begins at the top of the hills where you take Le Toiny signature ride. Beach club offers a great lunch menu by Jarad (2020 Chef of the Year in St. Barth) and ultimate relaxing atmosphere.

Gustavia - St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church

This tiny but amazing 18th-century mixed Swedish and French village has brought romantic feelings to many of its visitors. Wandering around the charming streets, surrounded by modern and stone buildings hosting gourmet restaurants, galleries, as well as luxury boutiques, has become an everyday late afternoon habit for most regular visitors.

Local Market:
Every first Sunday of the month local market offers handmade souvenirs and home-cooked food from the local “artists” who convey the flavor of the island through their creativity.

Island Hopping

Take a boat to the neighboring Anguilla. This island is popular for its long, snow-white beaches. We suggest Rendezvous Bay and Shoal Bay.

St. Barth Local Tips

Visit the fish market in Gustavia. The fishermen here offer an excellent dorado or mahi-mahi, as well as tuna. You can also buy a fresh lobster.

Natural Swimming Pools

At the beaches of Grand Fond and Grand-Cul-de-Sac the wind has dug our natural swimming pools, always heated by the sun — you’ll get the same pleasure as if you were taking a warm bath, but with incomparable view.

Cocktails

For sunset drinks:
1. Fouquet’s at Le Carl Gustaf, overlooking the harbour;
2. Shellona, located on the beach.
3. Christopher Hotel, located in Pointe Milou. The fiery sky shades reflect in the pool and create a very picturesque image combined with casual chic ambience.

Pre-dinner cocktails:
1. L’Isola with the signature approach of the mixologists.
2. Bonito will surprise you in many ways, making your drink an art piece.

For pousse-café drinks:
1. Take a look inside fun and extraordinary Quarter Kitchen & Cocktail Lab.
Yana’s Tip: try to figure out how to find the speakeasy Rhum Room for the niche bar experience, where you can taste the extended Caribbean rums collection.
2. Sand Bar at legendary Eden Rock Hotel, so classy, chic, and lively.

Colombier Beach

Colombier Beach tends to be one of St. Barth's most deserted stretches of sand because it can only be reached by boat from Gustavia or via a half-hour hike from Flamands Beach.
Also known as Rockefeller Beach, Colombier is worlds away from the island's bustling capital, with calm waters, good snorkeling, and privacy aplenty.
This beach lacks services, so bring plenty of drinks, snacks, and other beach supplies if you plan to spend the day.
